The Victorian Office of Public Prosecutions will not charge Kyle and Jackie O or Mamamia with contempt for potentially offensive comments made by Murin Patterson.
In July, Patterson was found guilty of murdering three relatives and attempting to kill a fourth with a deadly beef wettington mushroom he served in 2023.
The Presidency said in a statement on Wednesday that the items referred to them for the consideration of precautionary killings “hosted by the psychological fakes Dr Raquel Toles, do not have reasonable clusters of conviction.

“The relevant circumstances of each incident are considered carefully and examined against the principles of the sub-Judge confi,” a spokesman.
“It was determined that in all the circumstances there was no clear tendency, as a practical matter, to prejudice the fair trial of Ms Patterson on the charges against her.
“It is considered that the necessary elements of contempt cannot be proven beyond reasonable doubt, and there are no reasonable prospects of conviction for the described incidents.”
The Kyle and Jackie O show, Kiis Fm criticized for contempt after contempt for comments made on air during Kily’s talk, including Kyle Sandilands saying, “Lock that bitch up”.
On 16 June, Justice Christopher Beale told the Supreme Court of Victoria in the absence of the jury: “This morning the presentations of Kyle and Jackie OO radio or radio or radio or radio or the news or radio or radio or radio or radio or radio or radio or radio or radio or radio or the news of a news show.
“I read a transcript of that comment. I encourage all commenters to engage their brains before they open their mouths, as they open their mouths, as they open themselves and their organizations in hot water.”
The Mammania podcast episode “Grabi a plate. The twist of the mushroom test” is also mentioned for possible processes.
On 5 June, Beale told the court that the podcast was “full of extreme expressions of opinion” and “I will not repeat it here. After the removal of the podcast, it was removed”.
The Toles event was held at Hermer Hall, in Melbourne, during the trial. He pointed to Patterson on stage during the event.
