The feud between Eubank and Benn was not made. Benn is like me – he is emotionally charged and driven. For EUBANK, this is business. He didn’t care.
These two can love each other now. When you share a fight like they do, you respect each other.
But that respect goes out the window this week. A line will be played because they need to do that to get the right mindset.
Certain things to say this week to build each other up. They have family names and their own personal ambitions to risk.
The first fight was incredible to watch. It doesn’t stop from start to finish. These two can have 10 fights and all 10 will be thoughts.
I’m not saying Benn or Eupank is Micky Ward or Arturo Gatti, but the recipe they bring when they’re combined is great.
Eupank thought he was a better boxer than he and benn only knew how to fight one way – testing his opponent’s head every round every round every round every round every round every round every round every round every round every round every round every round every round every round every round in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase in each phase phase of each phase of each phase of each phase of each phase of each phase of each phase.
I had Eubank lose after nine rounds in the first fight. It was tight and stopped him before he turned to the championships of the championship.
All three judges only awarded four rounds, but I think he won at least five. I have Eubank winning one and a few rounds close.
I told Benn that he had to be careful about getting tired. I knew he would be strong but he was shocked by him.
Benn could have won if he kept up his output for the full 12 rounds, and he should learn from that experience.
A knockout loss for Benn would be devastating. A win for Benn would be a disaster for EUBANK – he lost to a welterweight.
Eupank was able to grab Benn and stop him, but the momentum turned in Benn’s favor.
I think that he can pay Eubank and can stop him, but I was edging a victory with the benefit of the points in a perfect thriller.
