Adele to act in the debut of the New Tom Ford Film Cry to Heaven

Adele is swapping music for acting when she makes her film debut in the next movie of former Fashion Designer Tom Ford.

The singer will appear with big names including Nicholas Houllt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Paul Bettany Star Cooper in Heaven’s Scream.

Adapted from Anne Rice’s novel, set in the 18th century world of “Castrati” – men who sing in high vous.

Ford will direct, produce and write the film, but details of the roles that Adele and other cast members will play have not yet been revealed.

The book follows the story of two Castrati who become successful opera singers in Venice and whose lives become intertwined.

The cast also includes Ciarán Hinds, George Mackay, Mark Strafer and Thandiwe Newton, according to US media outlets including Deadline, which first reported the news. A Ford spokesperson confirmed this to BBC News.

Adele, one of Britain’s most popular stars, released her last album four years ago and has largely been out of almshouse for a year.

He said he plans to take “a big break” after last year’s shows, and wants to “do other things creatively for a little while”.

However, Ford, one of the biggest names in fashion, but also made two recognized and stylish films – a man, carrying and carrying, in 2009; and nocturnal animals, which earned him two Bafta nominations, in 2016.

He sold his self-titled fashion house for $2.8bn (£2.4bn) by 2022, before saying he would “pray for about 20 years of my life in films”.

“I loved doing the two films I did. That was the most fun I’ve had in my entire life,” he told GQ.
