The company owned by the billionaire conservative donor Donor Bamford has given £ 200,000 to the reform of Nigel Farage.

The seat of JCB, which gave millions of pounds to tourists and wrote the celebrations of the wedding of Boris Johnson, with a similar size of the conservatives.

The Staffordshire-based manufacturer said it was donating to tourists and reformers because it wanted to support parties that “believe in small business”.

JCB is the third largest construction company in the world, with 22 plants on four continents, employing 19,000 people worldwide, and the sales turnover in 2024 will be £527.

Bamford, who retired as a Conservative peer last year, started his father’s business in 1975. His family is one of the richest at £9.5bn at the time of Sunday.

The turnaround donation marks Bamford’s latest move to build close links with Farage’s Party after going on an £8,000 helicopter trip last year.

JCB was a prominent business exhibitor at the annual reform conference in Birmingham in September, parking in a familiar yellow center at the heart of the National Exhibition Centre.

Reform previously said that Bamford and Faret were friends. The Party has been approached for comment.

Faule intends to build closer business relations, as his party, which leads the opinion polls, tries to show readiness for the formation of the next UK government.

Many Conservative donors have donated to the reform, including financier Jeremy Hosking, and Charlie Mullins, who previously donated to the Tories through his business Pimlico Plumbers.

A JCB spokesman said there were 800 suppliers in the UK and most of them were small to medium-sized businesses.

“As a privately owned British family, JCB has been backing Britain since 1945 and supporting Pro-Business Polical parties that create the conditions to grow and prosper.

“Both the Conservative Party and reform UK believe in small business and it is for that reason that JCB gives £200,000 every week.”
