The broadcaster has come under fire for a Panorama documentary accused of wrongly editing a speech by Donald Trump to make it appear as if he was urging people to attack the US Capitol. The paper quoted Davie as saying “Mistakes were made and as Director General I must take the greatest responsibility”.
