In the three weeks since the Louvre Museum has been hext, as investigators are trying to find out who is behind it and why the French crowns are so easy to steal, a mystery “Fedora”.

The Dapper youth in a hat was photographed outside the museum on Sunday and went viral on social media, prompting theories about his identity.

The first two mysteries ended quickly. The distraction of DNA thieves allows the police to working their identity. The director of the Louvre CCTV security is admittedly lacking.

However, Fedora the man remains an enigma – until now.

The Dandy, it turns out, is a local teenage fan of Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot who just happens to be at a real crime scene.

Pedro Elias Garzon Delvaux, a 15-year-old from Rambouillet, South-West of Paris told the Associated Preper (AP) News Agency that he planned his family but found the museum.

“We didn’t know there was a heist,” he said.

While he was asking officials about the closure, a photographer who was looking to take the Security Cordon took a photo and included Pedro in the frame.

Pedro only found out that the photo had gone viral four days later, when a friend sent him a screenshot asking: “Is that you?”

In his answer to this, the friend said that he has five million views on Tiktok. “I was a little surprised,” Pedro told the AP.

He was even more amazed when he called his mother to say the photo appeared in The New York Times. It made a big impact on him, he said, because he read that newspaper and “It’s not every day you’re in The New York Times”.

“People said, ‘You’ve become a star’. I was amazed that with just one photo you could go viral for days.”

Asked why he was wearing an old waistcoat and a Fedora in the museum, Pedro said that he dressed this way this way this way recently, inspired by the businessmen of the 20th Century.

“I want to be chic,” she told the AP. “I’m going to school.”

As wild speculation about his photo has circulated online – some wonder if he could be a real detective or a fake AI that has been silent for weeks.

“I don’t want to say it’s me,” he said. “In this picture there is mystery, so you have to let it last.”
