Mclaren’s Lando Norris took pole position for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix Hours after his championship leading Sprint victory.
The Briton made a mistake on his first lap that left him in 10th place going into the final run to secure pole position by 0.174 Seconds from Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli.
Norris’s team and title rival Oscar Piastri, fastest in the first laps of the Top 10 Shootout, could only manage fourth behind Ferrari Leclerc.
Max versaTappen of the Red Bull, the McLenar Drivers’s Only on the Titian Car, suffered a loud elimination in the first session and will start 16th.
