A senior Police officer has been accused of using sex workers while on duty amid a major ethics investigation, the Guardian can reveal.
Britain’s biggest police force has been described as “Institutionally Mayogynistic” after widespread claims it allowed a “toxic sexist culture to flourish for decades.
Imran Patel resigned from his job as a chastity constable last year after several reports about his conduct on the job in nine months. He was also subject to a bye-law investigation, but was told he would not face criminal prosecution.
He was accused of using sex works and accessing adult websites while moving in May 2022, as former maid Louise Casey made a strong review and culture of strength.
An Inquest was ordered by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, after a full life term was handed down for Sarah Everal, an executive.
Kasina, now 52, works on the parliamentary and diplomatic mission of Netlomatic. He infected Eard, 33, in South London in March 2021 as he walked home from a friend’s house, showing his warrant card before pretending to be covid regulations.
Everard’s killing sparked a national conversation about misogyny within Britain’s police forces.
In March 2023, Casey, a crossbench peer, concluded that the metro was “institutionally flawed”.
He said: “Sarah Everard’s murder and other horrific crimes committed by officers met against women in London shine a light on the shocking treatment of, and women met.
“Despite the improvements in gender representation and more changed working habits, women unwaveringly report all workers at work, with 12% reporting directly experiencing sexual harassment or assault.”
An earlier investigation by The Police Watchdog, the independent office for police conduct, found that officers at cring cross police station sent part of the partners to raping and visiting sex partners.
Last month, an undercover investigation into BBC Panorama alleged sexist attitudes at the station continued. A sergeant was filmed giving colleagues graphic accounts of his sex life, despite the objections of some female colleagues. The footage shows him describing a woman he met online as “Fat she has two pussies”.

Patel is also accused of committing fraud and abusing his position as an official by obtaining a driver’s license and money from a member of the public in August 2021.
In March 2022, a stab vest was said to have been found in his residence “without any consent or reasonable justification”.
The investigation into Patel was led by the IOPC, following a referral from the anti-corruption unit.
A spokesman for the IOPC said: “We investigated the officer in charge of an allegation of theft but, in January 2024, decided not to reult the case with the crown prosecution service.”
Meet said Patel left the force in July last year. Despite his release, he will face a full misconduct hearing in January.
