The Trump administration asked a Federal Appeals Court on Friday to prevent the Judge’s order from being distributed to a state that prioritizes states that can easily get people’s money.
US District Judge John J McConnell JR gave the Trump Administration until Friday to make payments through the supplemental assistance program (SUMBRICT), after the administration last month said it could not make payments in November due to the shutdown.
But the Trump administration has requested court appeals that suspend any court orders that require it to spend more money than is available in a contingency fund.
The filing of the Court came even Britt Cudaback, spokeswoman for the governor of Wisconsin, that on Friday that some recipients in November have already received their full payment in November on Thursday.
“We received confirmation that the payment went through, including members reporting that they can see their scales,” he said.
The Court – The Working Weopeng Week of uncertainty for the food program that serves about one in eight Americans, most of whom are lower income.
Last week, in separate rulings, two judges ordered the government to pay at least part of the benefits using an emergency fund. It initially said it would cover half, but later said it would cover 65%.
