Irish authorities have charged two men with explosives in connection with an allegedly planned terrorist attack by a far-flung extremist group.

Karolis Peckauskas, 38, of Droga, County Louth, and Garrett Pllock, 35, of Annalong, County Ireland, appeared in the Cross-border Police operation.

The Court heard that police evidence included a video recording in which four masked men took responsibility for a mosque and threatened future attacks in Ireland.

After clearing the court to watch the video, Judge Cody said it showed men in Balaclavas standing in front of a tricolor and making a “practice attack. The men warned that anyone who interfered with the group would be a “target”, the judge said.

Police evidence also included a document described as a “manifesto” for the alleged extremist group.

Pllock was charged with possession of an explosive substance, related to the ingredients for potential pipe bombs and innectary devices allegedly found in his home. The police service of Northern Ireland managed to find.

Pllock was also charged, with PECKAKTODTO, with an explosive substance, defined as four threaded pipe caps and six liters of hydrogen peroxide, in porlaoise.

DED Statement told the court that Plollock is said to have planned the terrorist attack for a “right-wing extremist group”.
