The love at the grammys continues for Kendrick Lamar. The rapper, who took home the most trophies at the 2025 music awards at five, led the nominees for the 2026 awards.
Lamar is up for nine awards, including album of the year (for his latest album, GNX), best rap album, record of the year and song of the year. He faced competition for the top award of the night – album of the year – from Bad Bunny, Justin Carpenter, Lady Gerpenter, Leon Thomas, Tyler, Tyler, Pusha T & Pusha.
Gaga trails Lamar with seven nominations, tied for second with producers Cirkut and Jack AntonOff. Other top nominees include Carpenter, Thomas, and Next Year’s Super Bowl Half-time show, Bad Bunny, who each received six.
The Latin superstar, whose album Debí Debí Tirar Más Fotos earned a groundbreaking residency at DTMF, together with Luner and Szacei, Billadabra, Luyla Garmf, Light Gugish for DTMF, Bille Gugish for DTMF, Billyar of Lamar and Szache, Chappell Roan for subway, and Bruno Mars and Rosé for APT.
Lamar’s Luther was also chosen for the Song of the year for Abracadabra, anxiety, apt, DTMF, Wildfild, Manchild and KPOP DEGNSED’ gold track. TRAIN-TOUD TRACK TRACK Marks of an animated promoter – Hunting / X: Ejae, Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami – has been nominated for the song of the year.
Roan, who is the best new artist of the year, was announced by this year’s nominees, Olivia dean, Marrabas, Thomas, Thomas, Lola Warren and Lola Young. Other presenters include Brandi Carlile, Carpinent, Dochii, Sam Smith, and Sharon, Jack and Kelly Osbourne, paying tribute to the late metal legend Ozzy Osbourne.

The 68th Grammy Awards will take place on 1 February 2026 at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles, with a host announced.
