Sarr has four goals in his previous appearances and is close to matching his tally from last season – 12 goals in all competitions.
Palace signed Sarr from Marseille for a fee of around £12.5m in 2024 in an attempt to replace winger Michael Olise who joined in the summer.
That’s a piece of business that now looks bad, especially with the club’s dispossessed this year.
Boss Oliver Glasner has called the former Watford forward “an important player” for the club.
“He seems to be facing well in this – we know when he is strong, he is very good,” said the Austrian.
“He had such a big run, really good finishes. I remember, more or less, the same finish he had against Brighton [last season].
“He had the same finish against Arsenal in the FA Cup [last season]. He is the one with the speed, and many others are running behind, the more difference in sprinting. It helps that he creates space for others. He is really good. “
The conference league has been won by an English team in two of the last three tournaments and Palace is one of the favorites to add their names this term.
After a shock defeat to Aek Larnaka at Selhurst Park last time out, Glasner said the win in front of their home supporters was much needed.
“I hope it’s not the last,” he said.
“The first time you always remember, there was a good environment. I think everyone enjoyed it and went home happy with the result and the performance.”
