The Denver Broncos ground out a narrow 10-7 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders to maintain the best record in the NFL.
In a tight game, only three points were scored in the entire second half but it was important that Wil Lutz scored a record 32-field to lead the Broncos to an 8-2 record.
They had more penalties than the first stop in a stop-start game at Mile High Stadium but are atop the AFC West after a seventh straight victory.
Coach Sean Payton said his team can refine their style as they look to continue winning.
“We’ve got to clean up some penalties. We’ve got to clean up the execution and that’s an ongoing thing that probably isn’t over,” he said.
