The Germans may have a hard time winning over European nudists, but a survey suggests that the public not only accepts it, but even more so.
The Igov Survey of six European countries – the UK, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy and Spain – which are the most likely to say that the Danes are the best to say that the Danes are the best to say that these are endless public places – and followed.
Bad, large majorities in all six countries agree that it is good to give up dedicated nudist camps and 77-91% are good at nudist beaches, even if nudist nudist camps, even 17% of the French and Italians are against.
But while the majority of people in all countries surveyed do not approve of nudity in places such as public swimming pools or Parks, 35% of Danistas who quit a non-nudist beach and 87% quit a non-nudist beach and 87% quit a non-nudist beach and 87% quit a non-nudist beach and 87% quit on a non-nudist beach and 87% believe it’s fine to be naked in your garden.
They are also more open to the idea of nudity in the open countryside, while majorities in other countries ranging from 58% in Germany to Harrain view nudity as the norm.
The Danes are also the most allowed skins in the sea, lakes or rivers, with 64% of the Italians, 31% of the French, 32% of the Brokes, 32% of the British, 32% of the British, 32% of the Brokes and 49% of the Germans.
Danes also practice what they preach. Asked which of the seven settings they personally undressed as an adult, more than half answered at least one, at least once. That compares to 45% of Germans and 44% of Spaniards.
There is a marked difference between the three countries and others, that only 31% of the French, 25% of the Italians confess everything in one or a public place in their adult lives.
The Danes are the most likely to be naked in their own garden or the skin dipped, at 36-37%, which is 19-29% of the Germans, 19-14% of the Brokes, 13-14% of the British and 11-12% of the Italians.
The Germans, however, are the champions when it comes to places designed for the purpose, showing a “free-body culture” – Freikörperkulturur or FKK – DATING back to the late 19th century.

The popularity of FKK has waned in recent years, but the country remains one of the most liberal in the world for public undressing in designated spaces for the law for the practice for the law for the practice.
The survey found that only 12% of Danes had stripped off in a dedicated naturist site such as a beach or campsite, more than Britons at 6%, similar to the French at 14% and Italians at 11%, but fewer than the Spaniards at 22% and Germans at 25%.
Danes were also more likely to say they would be willing to participate in public nudity, with 50% saying they would be up for stripping off in a public place compared with 42% of Germans, 38% of Spaniards, 34% of French people and 29% of Britons and Italians.
People are more male than female in all six countries. In Denmark Generations are more open to naturism, but in Germany it is the reverse: 31% of 18- to 34-year-olds are willing to be naked in public, compared to 46-48% of those over 50.
