King Charles III officially undressed his brother Andrew who hung in the air in his princely and princely princely style.
A new entry in Britain’s official public record shows the change has been made after it was announced last week.
The king made the changes in weeks of intense scrutiny of the former prince’s links to sex offender Offrey Epstein.
The record also confirms his removal from the peerage roll as the Duke of York, which was also announced.
The entry published in the Gazette, the UK’s official public record, reads:
“The King has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm dated 3 November 2025 to declare that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor shall no longer be entitled to hold and enjoy the style, title or attribute of ‘Royal Highness’ and the titular dignity of ‘Prince’.”
Buckingham Palace said last week that Andrew left his royal residence at the House of Windsor.
Andrew Spackbat Windsor – as he is now known – gave his other headlines last October, including the Duke of York, after more questions and allegations about his private life.
The Palace said the former prince had agreed to leave the Royal Lodge as his links to pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein continued to cause controversy.
The decision was made due to Andrew’s serious lapses in judgment, it is understandable, and he continues to deny the accusations against him.
It is also understood that he did not oppose the king’s decision to remove his titles.
