Migrant who returned to UK after removal sent back to France

The migrant who returned to the UK by small boat after being caught in France under an internal procedure has been taken back.

He was on a return flight this morning.

The man, who returned to the UK less than a month after being taken, is claimed to be a victim of modern slavery at the hands of French smuggling gangs.

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood said: “Anyone looking to return to the UK after being removed under the UK-France agreement is wasting their time and money.”
