The US actress and Director Kristen Stewart says she is “very angry” that progress for Hollywood filmmakers has been backed.
The Twilight Star, who directed the upcoming film The Chronology of Water, gave a failed speech at a women’s luncheon in Los Angeles hosted by Osista at the Oscars.
“Coming back from a short period of development is the most devastating,” he told the audience. “Such a pathetic number of films from last year were made by women.”

He added: “We can talk about wage bonds and taxes on tampons and measures [inequality] in many questionable ways. But the violence of silence, it’s like we’ve never been angry. But I can eat this podium with a kakha and [expletive] knife. I was very angry. “
