For Tottenham and Frank it was a much-needed win after his side were left on the pitch at the end of their 1-0 home loss to CHELSEA on Saturday.
That’s one point from Procier’s three consecutive Premier League matches in the Premier League, although they have taken five points from their opening three Champions League games in the Champions League.
Frank encouraged the fans to return to the team and the supporters responded as they, along with a passionate following of the visitors, helped to create an even better atmosphere.
The home situation was helped when Tottenham took a 19th-minute lead through Brennan Johnson, before Wilson OdoBert added a second after the restart as Spurs were in control.
That threatened to change when Johnson was sent off, after Erik Official Lambretchts was sent to the slide challenge in the video of Marcos Lopez.
But van de ven’s moment quickly ended any hope of a fight as Copenhagen, despite having a one-man advantage, collapsed with Joao Palhinha adding a fourth. There was almost a fifth but Richarlison hit the crossbar with a penalty in added time.
“We’re moving forward, but we’re not where we want to be,” Frank admitted afterward. “I saw a good performance, which I was happy with. We talked about the bounce-back mentality and there are failures in football, how you react to a bad spell. We controlled the game.”
For van de ven, it’s been a mixed few days.
After the game against Chelsea, television footage showed him and team-mate Snub Frank, when the Dane recognized them going to the home supporters.
Both players apologized after the incident, with Frank drawing a line under the matter in Monday’s Newsroom.
After Van de Ven’s goal, which will be talked about for many years to come, Frank joked about the Dutchman: “He can keep throwing me when he’s angry.”
