The former Liverpool and Manchester City player has impressed in his first senior managerial role, leading Wales to promotion to the nations top tier and implementing a bold new style of play.
Bellamy is in the midst of the most testing spell of his tenure so far, with Wales losing three of their last four matches in all competitions.
“I have a number of years running … I signed a four-year contract,” added Bellamy.
“Now, I know the game too. Like, you’ve probably had enough of me in a short time, that too.
“But I feel that I want to, and the people of Wales feel that I can add, then that for me is something that motivates me, then I stay.
“I try and live every day you know, not always smart but for me it explains and I try.
“Having it right now is one of the best periods of my life and hopefully continues to be even more.”
